In 2025, the flagship Cézanne exhibition at Jas de Bouffan will offer you a unique immersion into the world of the Aix master, celebrating his deep connection with his hometown.
From June 28 to October 12, 2025, the Granet Museum in Aix-en-Provence presents the international exhibition Cézanne at Jas de Bouffan. More than just a living space, the Jas de Bouffan country house was a veritable laboratory where Cézanne experimented with his art for nearly 40 years. Through an exceptional selection of around a hundred paintings, drawings, and watercolors, this retrospective immerses you in the artist’s intimate world, revealing his deep connection with this family home.
The Cézanne summer exhibition at Jas de Bouffan offers a thematic tour of the artist’s works created between 1860 and 1899, in his family home in Aix-en-Provence. This place, much more than a simple residence, became for Cézanne a true creative workshop, where he experimented with the techniques and motifs that would mark his art. We have prepared several festival and nightlife activities – plus, we also provide historical exhibitions and lots of other activities in September and October.
